I am very against baby carrots, though. They waste half the carrot to make them, and I think they taste terrible. Try getting fresh carrots with stems at the farmers market or organic section at whole foods. Carrots taste delicious when they are in their most natural form!

Health Secret

Hydrate! To keep myself interested in water throughout the day, I like to ‘dress it up,’ meaning add lemon, cucumber, ice and a straw. It tastes like you are at a spa. If you’re someone who is always on the go, set a goal of how many times you want to refill your water bottle, or how many bottles you want to go through, by noon, then another from noon till dinner, and then after dinner. If I break it up like that, sometimes I make it through eight glasses by 4 p.m., and then any additional evening waters are a bonus!
