WHAT TO WEAR

A slinky star-printed slip dress and your go-to leather jacket (may we suggest this one by Faith Connexion?)

EYES

MAC Eye Shadow in Charcoal Brown and Too Faced Eye Shadow in Midnight are heroes on the eyes. Apply Charcoal all over the lid up to the crease, and then blend Midnight inside the crease using a fluffy brush. Using a small smudger brush, bring Midnight to the lower lash line, followed by a heavy amount of Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Desperation– a ‘blackest black matte’, according to the brand- on the upper and lower lash line. Depending on how slept-in you want the eyes to feel, use your smudger brush to smoke out the liner. Finish with as many coats of Dior Blackout Mascara as your heart desires. There’s no such thing as too much mascara here.

FACE

Use a BeautyBlender to fan out Chanel VitaLumiere Foundation all over, which does a bang-up job of evening out skin tone with only a light layer. After setting with a translucent powder, apply NARS Dual Intensity Blush in Sexual Content along your cheekbones. Both shades have warm undertones with fine pearl shimmer, which brings some life back into your complexion after flattening it with a layer of foundation.

LIPS

Sticking with a smokey eye look staple, the lips are the perfect shade nude shade courtesy of Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Bettina, a super wearable medium-beige with pink undertones and very fine silver shimmer. And that’s it, because sometimes, there’s no reason to reinvent the wheel.
