WHAT TO WEAR
Start by applying a combination of Anastasia Beverly Hills Eye Shadows in Cognac and Comfort all over the lid and up the crease using a fluffy brush, then apply eyeliner on the top and bottom lashes like you mean it– Chanel’s Le Crayon Kohl Eyeliner in Amber, specifically. This is not the time to be light handed. Blend using your finger or a smudger brush, and follow up with a few coats of your favorite mascara. Any mascara would work here, as long as it’s volumizing. You want maximum impact, but not so much that your lashes look clumpy.
To offset the bold eye, keep skin breathable with a buildable foundation like Chanel’s Vitalumière Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Sunscreen Makeup, and if you need any additional coverage, use your finger to apply Cle De Peau Concealer.
Blush should be of the cream variety- it gives a more spontaneous wash of color that’s fitting for a sun-kissed look. Buffing something neutral, like Charlotte Tilbury’s Beach Stick in Moonbeach onto your cheekbones, gives off the perfect terracotta-glow.
Finish everything off with NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Biscayne Park, a pinky-nude peach. It’s warmer than your traditional nude lipstick (read: more versatile) and it’s glossy without being messy. The perfect finisher.
