“I cover everything from cooking, to home decor, to beauty on my blog, and when I travel, I like to feature fashion a bit with different bikinis. That’s kind of become my thing. This is really random, but I am obsessed with donuts, so I’ve started baking them a lot. It made sense because I was always eating donuts anyway [laughs], so I figured why not start making them?

I’m dabbling into video a bit now, trying to take my content onto other platforms, but overall, I try to share a realistic lifestyle with my readers. I have a no-bullshit policy with my content. I don’t do a lot of outfit posts because, to be totally honest, my outfits are really boring! I wear the same thing most days, so it doesn’t make sense to go out of my way to post about it. I’d rather come up with authentic stories because those are more interesting to readers.

Beauty has been a new thing for me, actually. I was never really on video or camera until Snapchat came about, but my viewers started asking about the chapstick I was wearing or what tools I use to style my hair, so it felt like a natural progression to start covering beauty topics.

To me, the Next Big Thing in beauty is for sure skincare. I don’t like wearing a lot of makeup, especially when it’s really warm out, so I depend really heavily on my skincare products to keep my complexion in check. The Patchlogy Flash Patch Eye Gels are a new discovery of mine, and I honestly don’t know how I lived without them until now. They help keep the whole under eye area, and even the upper part of your cheek, plumped up and really healthy looking. It makes such a difference in my complexion, which in turn makes my makeup products, like highlighters, look better. To highlight, I use a palette from Nars called Dual Intensity Blush in Craving. For a powder products, it gives the dewiest sheen. I dab it along my cheekbones, down my nose, on my cupids bow and a little on my forehead, and it makes my skin look really healthy and glowy.”
